Creating local demand to purchase water purification systems

“Nothing happens until someone sells something.”  Many families spend more money to treat water related illnesses than it would take to purchase a locally produced water purification system.  Community Health Agents (or Sales Agents) are trained to help families understand Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), the family’s present expenditures due to water illnesses, and water purification alternatives.  If the family purchase a water purifier, the agent receives a sales commission and the water project receives an order to construct & install a water purification system.
