Venture Forward 2022 - Champions Dinner & Film Festival at Apollo Cinema
Every year the Enviro-Stewards team proudly hosts an event to raise awareness and fundraise for Safe Water Social Ventures called "Venture Forward", which provides a forum for our customers and champions to share in SWSV's achievements and goals. We're very excited to host our first in-person event in two years!
The theme of this year's Venture Forward event is the "Impact Film Festival". The event will take place at the Apollo Cinema in Kitchener and will begin with a Champion's Dinner hosted at the Crazy Canuck (adjacent to the Apollo). At 7 pm, we'll begin our film festival at the Apollo, which will premiere a brief documentary featuring footage taken during a team trip to Uganda in October, 2022. The festival will also feature selected short documentaries that our event team finds to be impactful and consistent with the capacity-building approach of SWSV. If you have a compelling short film (5 minutes or less) that you would like to be considered, please send a link to mail@enviro-stewards.com by 5 pm, September 16, 2022.

For those who are unable to join in person, we'll be hosting a YouTube Livestream event of the film festival and panel discussion (link will be sent in event reminder email).
If you'd like to make a donation to SWSV and you don't require a charitable tax receipt, the Eventbrite registration has an option to donate to the project. If you prefer a tax receipt, you can donate to SWSV right now through Canada Helps and then return to continue your registration to the event. Your donation will help a family in East Africa purchase a water purifier that will provide clean and safe drinking water for up to 25 years.
